Overview: When the architect, general contractor, and construction management team for Lutheran High School were looking for an upgraded floor/ceiling assembly, they contacted their local Maxxon representative from Maxim Floor Systems.

The construction team needed a 1 hour fire rating and a system that would stop the foot traffic and chair scraping noises of the students on the second floor from transmitting to the offices below.

The representative recommended the Acousti-Mat II Sound Control System with high strength Dura-Cap Floor Underlayment, which was specified and installed on the project.
