Therma-Floor and Dura-Cap hit the Big Time...on PBS' Hometime
Therma-Floor® and Dura-Cap®
Overview: Hometime is a do-it-yourself home-improvement series on public television. Its aim is to provide the average homeowner with step-by-step advice for professional-looking results.
Hometime's winter program schedule included an eleven part miniseries about building a new log home in the beautiful northwoods of Wisconsin. The log home received a new radiant heat system, so Hometime once called on Maxxon to "Deliver the Heat" with Therma-Floor® upstairs, as well as leveling the basement with Dura-Cap®.
Therma-Floor was poured over a radiant heat system, with help from Maxxon's Tim Parsons and Floor Technologies. PBS and Hometime only refer to products generically, but notice the sweatshirts and caps!
The program first aired nationally on February 27, 1999. This was Hometime Show #1309. Further information on Hometime is available on their website: www.hometime.com.
