Overview: When this old warehouse was converted into an apartment
building, it was important to the developers to maintain many
of the historic features, including the open beam ceiling/floor
assemblies. Due to the sound transmission associated with this
type of construction, Acousti-Mat 3 was selected to provide
superior sound control, and Maxxon MR was used to provide
reinforcement. Gyp-Crete 2000/3.2K was used as the topping
for added sound control, and a smooth strong surface for
finished floor goods.
